Also known as "yellow bean paste" or "salted yellow soybean sauce", Koon Chun's Bean Sauce is a paste-like, brown soya bean sauce made from fermented soya beans and sesame oil. Cantonese chefs and housewives especially like to use this sauce in steamed fish and stewed meat dishes. It also adds a subtle and flavorful taste to snow peas, sweet peas, and green beans.
